I just finished up about a week in Coffs Harbour Australia for an Oceanic conference that was a bunch of fun. Got to spend some time with a lot of local shops from Down Under and talk to them about web stuff...

The high point was heading out with the guys from Scuba Diving Coffs Harbour Solitary Islands with Jetty Dive (http://www.jettydive.com.au) and heading to the solitary islands for a few dives. We were having big storms for a few days previous, so vis was not great - but I got to see some Grey Nurse Sharks (these are big ole' snarly teeth dudes... not what you think of a Nurse shark being in Cozumel).

We put up a quick video here:

Also got to see some giant cuttle fish, lion fish, rays and more. I'll post up some more video footage when I get back state side... got a bit of travel ahead of me now!

Yes, the SIMP is a great place to dive & the GNS are great to dive with. Did you see any manta's. We had one & it's attendant cobia at Anemone Bay last Friday. On the way home we had an encounter with a young hump back who swam around us breaching & waving.

We also saw whales on the way out, but no Manta's. Of course I heard from them, and they saw them a few days later... my luck!
