I have a console mounted Suunto SK-7 Compass but would like to use it as a wrist mount. Does anyone know if you can pop it out of the console and put it in a wrist mount?

Yes, best to put in warm water first to soften up the mount. Then slowly push it out. The preferred wrist mount is made by Deep Sea Supply. A search will yield more discussion on this.

I checked out the wrist mount on the DSS website and that is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks for the input.

Just a warning to be very careful in getting the compass out of the console mount. If you scratch the plastic, it will eventually fail (she says from expensive personal experience).
