I am a 19 yearold windsor diver who has a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. I am looking to do my Rescue Diver this summer and would love to be an OFWF. If anyone wants to hire me for the summer to dive as either a research diver or anything involving the water I am going to be attending university in the fall in Marine Biology.
so i hope you will embrace me.

Welcome to our little corner of Scuba Board!!!!!
As for working as a research diver, you would have to be a certified occupational diver if you were going to be paid to do research work.
The place that I just stopped working for has a 4 person Dive Team that does Environmental Research. If you looking for a summer job in the research field you might want to check out:

This is a bunch of Canucks who are jealous of Americans that have so many nifty 4 letter - well, some times silly - long winded acronyms for simple things.
We cherish our little contribution to the silliness:
Ontario
Fresh
Water
Freaks
I know, there is no more mystery in your life. You'll get over it...
My invoice is in the mail, make the cheque out to MR. T, the one without the bad taste in jewelry...
