Hi Sb new to this forum, i m looking for info for spearing halibut in the montery area. i have jbl 38 special is this gun capable of getting a halibut i know it will shoot them, im just not sure if i would need a float line or reel, most pics i have seen have been freedivers and i want to scuba, is scuba for halibut possible ? type of tip for spear i should use?
