I've got a friend who keeps getting extremely dizzy and nauseous on dives up to 8m. Extremely. He can't walk after a shallow dive & that is then the end of his dives for the day. But on any deeper dive - no problemo. He doesnt get dizzy on safety stops after a deep dive. I've checked him on sawtooth diving - no problemo. He gets this condition while still in the water.
What about blood pressure - has it got something to do with that? He has got high blood pressure (not severe) but uses medicine.
Is it middle ear / vertigo?
Age 50 and fit.
