Hi all. Ok so as promised here is my trip report for Sharm for the 21st-28th July - CRAP!

Ok so I keep hearing stories that Sharm has had a lot of big stuff in the area this year, but I didn't see didley squat. Aside from hundreds of divers, through all their bubbles we saw one medium sized eagle ray, and one baby manta - that was it! Yolanda had the worst visibility I think it's ever had, and the Thistlegorm to be honest while nice, I think it's overrated, especially for a 3hr+ boat trip to get there. As for the food on the boat - I don't know how it sustains people, my first trip 2 years ago it was good, but this time it was pretty pathetic to be honest.

So all in all, been there twice and very probably never again. I think there are plenty more sites to go to in the world with better quality reefs, better fish life, and better chances of seeing big stuff too. That's my honest thoughts anyway. Hope the next report is better, from wherever I head to next. Hope others have better luck though.
