Is there any chance that Dive Rite will bring back the 30 pound version of the Venture Wing. The new 45 pound model is overkill for me. I just don't need that much lift, and I like the more streamlined design of the older version. The wide base looks like a good candidate for "taco wrap" around the tank.

I don't think you'll see the 30lb. Venture again from DiveRite, although if you advertise here, in the classifieds as a WTB (wanting to buy), you might find a seller of the original.
I like the 30lb. version as well. The wider base serves well for 'feet heavy' trim.

The 45 lb venture wing and the 30 lb venture wing are identical, except the 45 lb version has a 1" strip between the halves of the shell, making it a bit thicker. The length and width are identical.
