Can't Get Suunto Cobra To Download

I have a Sunnto Cobra and just bought the download cable from the dive shop. When I installed the software and tried to download the logbook, I get an error message that pops up when it searches for the device: Device not found. I tried connecting it two different ways, but still nothing has worked. I even installed it on another computer, but I got the same error message. I had turned it on and placed it on different menus, but still got the same message. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bad cable? The software is the Suunto Dive Manager 2.5.0 and my computers are Windows XP.

Did you install the USB driver ? (Assuming it's the USB cable)

Did you put the Cobra in PC Transfer mode ? Instructions here:
