Hello All,

The Diving Almanac And Yearbook is the only Who’s Who of the international diving community. The 2008 edition lists 500 men and women - and even a ship - from around the globe that have impacted the diving world and we are looking for more.

From legends such as Jacques-Yves Cousteau to individuals unknown outside their country, these people have contributed to the world of sport diving, professional diving, science, medicine, technology, the military, underwater imagery, environmentalism, and even politics.

We invite you to nominate yourself or someone you know for our Who's Who of the world diving community (Chapter 12 - Notable Persons). Nominees may be living or deceased.

If you know someone who should be listed in next year’s edition, please send the following information for consideration:

Name
Nationality
Year of birth (and death if deceased)
30-word biography
Head & shoulders photo

Deadline for the 2009 edition is November 14, 2008.

Copies of the 2008 edition with the complete list of notable persons and bios as well as 17 other fact-filled chapters are still available online (http://www.divingalmanac.com) with FREE SHIPPING to the U.S. and Canada.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to including your Notable Persons in next year's edition of the Diving Almanac & Yearbook.

JEFFREY
