La Romana

Going to Baharibe, La Romana 4/03........Kinda disenchanted with all the negativity regarding the diving in this area........anybody have anything positive?

Well.... This is my country.... I would say La Romana is the best place to dive (Rec Diving) of it. No place here is like to go and do 4+ dives a day, but if you plan on doing about 2 dives a day, it is pretty nice. Also, I guess there's no shore diving, I'm not sure, because I never do it. If you like wrecks, there is a really nice one named the Saint George that starts at about 70-80, and bottoms at 140.

If you are coming with your family you will find things to do with them....
