Does anyone know if the AF 35 is compatible with the Casio EX-Z1200?

The AF-35 is compatible as long as the Casio EX-Z1200 emits a pre-flash (not to be confused with red eye reduction). Refer to your camera's manual or watch for two flashes when the camera is set in a forced flash mode. They happen very quickly, but you should be able to detect it by eye.
The other consideration is whether the bottom of the housing features a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount. If it does then the tray will fit the bottom of the housing. However you may or may not experience some rotation of the housing on the tray as we do not make tray inserts to specifically anchor Casio housings.

Thanks, Jean. That's what I was afraid of. I'll have to try to find one locally and mount it to the housing.
