hi
i'm going diving for the first time in 3 years next week
i've gotten my kit down from the attic, only to find my vytec dead :dork2:
i pulled the battery out of the back to organise a replacement
now i realise the transmittor might need a new battery aswell
can anyone tell me what type i need
i don't have the time before workk today to take it appart
i fly out on friday night and need to get it sorted

I think it is a 3 volt lithium for the transmitter....

seems that they are a special job replacement, and the transmitter needs to be pressure tested
it's costing me £30 to have the job done
and £6.25 for the battery in the vytec, which i can replace myself

It's best to send the transmitter in for the battery, but if you do it your self read the direction for it and look at the next page before you start.
