Well, it would appear my not-quite-4-year-old Cobra with 89 dives on it has gone **** up. I had it serviced last fall (new battery & orings) by the LDS. Made 4 dives on it since, shortly afterward. So, now here it is a year later and I go diving only to find that while I get air pressure, it doesn't go into dive mode, does not show depth and doesn't record the dives I tried to make on it. Other than that, it seems to operate normally.

Some internet research seems to indicate that bad depth sensors on Cobras with under 100 dives are not as uncommon as one would think.

The crappy part of course is that since I bought it from LP, I have to assume that I am going to be completely out of luck in terms of getting it fixed or credited toward future purchase ):
