Hi everyone,

I will be in Destin for the next few days assuming Gustav doesn't shift and head more East. If the storm starts heading more West to where there is minimal effect, I would like to get a dive at the jetties in on Monday or Tuesday if possible. I realize this is probably unlikely, but I wanted to see if any locals or otherwise would be interested in joining me as a buddy.

If I have to evacuate, I might as well enjoy myself right?

I could only do it on Monday, but in addition to the hurricane that is a double high tide day. Water quality promises to be churned up plus low tidal clearing. Some holiday huh? :D

Yeah, it doesn't look too promising. At this point I'm just hoping Gustav doesn't turn into another Katrina. Very scary stuff!
