I am curious..are there any lakes in MA where zebra mussels have made penetration?
I can't imagine how there wouldn't be zebras, even on a small scale, in some lakes in NE. Especially when watersheds nearby have them. I've heard that they're not as abundant in the St. Lawrence as they had been a few years ago.
There are zebras in New England, they just have not been found in Massachusetts yet (according to the link above). That link also includes a map showing where they have been found thus far.
