Tried to get it connected with a ThinkPad T41p and it's internal IrDA with no success.
Bought the IrDA USB connection from Uwa-Tec and installed it on a ThinkPad T61p which has no internal IrDA.
Connection worked on the first try. :D
 
IrDA is badly standardized. It's hell for all manufacturers...
but IrDA is not with us for much long.

It would be amazing if I could get the built-in IR port on my Macbook to work inside Parallels, I guess that would be too much to ask though!
