I'm thinking seriously about signing up for this new Nekton itinerary. (It's apparently one that they used to do, stopped, and now are resurrecting.)

The caution that it is not for the brand new diver. I'm wondering if I'd be biting off more than I can chew....although I don't think so.

I'm 59, got certified last December, did 5 dives afterwards in the Dominican Republic, then went on a dive week in Bonaire. Total of about 25 dives. In Bonaire (with my adult son) we did several boat dives, several off the house reef and several shore dives, trudging in off the beach.

Next month, I'm going to Cozumel for another dive week with a local dive shop. I've already gotten my Nitrox cert, and will get my AOW in Coz. I expect to do another 15-20 dives in Coz.

So, what do you think? I should be alright for this triip, right?

Ron
