howdy all. I have been a certified diver for a while. Haven't gone for a year, since I now go to school in the midwest and have no green (thanks to school). Anyways, I'm doing a project for my intro to marketing class where we have to develop a campaign for a new product. I chose a wrist-mounted dive computer with a radar screen (neat idea, me thinks). Trouble is I cannot find any information on the market size of dive computers, just places that want me to buy them. Does anyone have an idea how many are sold in the U.S.? What about the sizes of the big name makers? I know Suunto, Aqualung, U.S. Divers, etc. but no info is posted or written on their sizes- market share, $dough-wise, or sales.
I'd appreciate any info offered, it would be a great kick to the gluteals to help me on my way. Thanks:confused:

Don't know a lot about what you need in numbers and stuff... but radar doesn't work underwater, are you thinking sonar?

IIRC, there are only 3(?) manufacturers of dive computers, and they are rebadged for sale by other companies.
