Now Cat-2 with some predictions for Cat-3. Looks like a Friday arrival there, continuing across the Cortez, mainland, towards El Paso, maybe even Amarillo...

Wow! What is going on over there, ya'll? You know, if Al Gore hadn't told everybody about this "global warming".... These hurricanes wouldn't be churning up like this. Think about it people...... :voodoo:

Good news for Baja! Norbert has weakened to Cat-1 and slowed his approach to a Saturday arrival. A Cat-1 is still a tremendous storm, not to be taken lightly, but weaker nonetheless. And I don't guess they have the potential threat of as much surge as in the shallow Gulf of Mexico where water really banks up. Looks like he'll be breaking up over El Paso area first of the week, then here in the Texas Panhandle as those often do....
