:( Am looking for a lat/long near Bimini and the Bahamas as follows:

Somewhere, in the vicinity of Bimini (i.e. 40 NM), supposedly, is a place where the U.S. dumped some aircraft in the late 40s.

Does anyone know where this dump is and what the lat/long is?

Am headed there on a live-aboard in early May and would like this info by the 18th of April so I can meet with our charter captain and plan a dive there.

Please email it to me. I have A chart set but it is not listed...yet I saw it on another chart in Bimini last year, wrote it down, and lost the paper! Sigh...

I've spent a lot of time in that area and never heard of such a thing. There's a few drug planes that didn't quite make the runway but that's it.

If they had dumped planes they'de have done so in extremely deep (1000 +) water most likely.

If you do find info on this I'd be most interested in hearing it.
