Belize - Blackbird's Caye

I have a small group trip set for June 11 - 18, to BlackBird's Resort on Turniffe Atoll, Belize.

I spent a week there in the summer of 2000. It was cool because we were a group of 15, and we had the whole resort to ourselves. Very nice diving, but you can't go in the water at night, see attached photo for reason. :)

Nice staff, great food, boats adequate, although the dive boat they use for short hops is small and has no canopy, and is hard to get out of while wearing gear.

ALso, VERY VERY mosquitoey. Bring your stuff. Plan to use it very often. Those suckers'll eat you alive if you let them.

I'd go there again.
