Anyone know what size & type cord you use to replace the cord on dump valves?

I found this 'How To' site but don't know what size cord to use...

??

Thanks Scubaroooooooo,
I see it in there - mutsa missed it when I read it...thanks.

SOOO, the next question IS:

To have pull dumps with balls on the ends OR not!

I say 'no'...

Opinions?

I'd say no to the ball ends as well. My Pioneer wing came with a longer piece of cord and a loop tied in it. That works just as well as a plastic ball does, even with thick cold water gloves on.

From the site listed above...
If you have a ball attached to line - cut it off.
It's not necessary and it can get stuck between stages
making it impossible to inflate the wings.

Do you guys often scratch your butts on the stages to where the ball would be in danger of getting stuck?

I wear Diving Concept insulated dry gloves and even when I wear an additional PolyPro liner inside, it's fairly easy to reach back, locate the exhaust valve, and close in on the pull cord.

...muscle memory....
