Dived my new Halcyon 36lb wing the other day for the first time. (Old one was replaced by Halcyon because it was busted). I've always used my old wing in conjuction with a seperate STA - but because I was travelling, I thought I'd try it with just the integrated STA this time, to save a couple of pounds in the luggage.

You know what? It works pretty well :)

With a LP80 at least. Yet to try with my usual LP95 or larger. Definitely need to dump the old Halcyon seperating cam buckles for some new continuous ones though. UP was right, again.

I would say the Halcyon integrated STA works very well.

Extremely secure without the hassles of a separate STA.

The new Halcyon buckles are made of SS and don't come apart.
