Does anybody know how to get the battery replaced on a Dive Rite Nitek (not the Nitek Duo)? I don't think it is user replacable.

Yes, I just got a PM on this from Dive Rite. You have to get an RMA from them and send it in. $50 and you get a fresh battery. If you send in the OMS version, they will also replace the face so you have a Nitek face plate (no charge)

or you can do what i did, find a 3000 foot ocean trench, throw it overboard as far as you can, and get a puter with user replaceable batteries. wonder how much deco its racked up

That is sneaky.

(I wonder if they will even remember selling me my B'air, and whther they will replace the battery.)

Hi guys,

Check out our Solution Finder, under the question 'Can I change the battery in my Dive Rite computer?' This will give you information about how to go about changing the battery and whether you need to send it in to us or whether you can do it yourself, depending on the computer in question.

If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

Best,
Ag
