Not sure if anyone ever posted about this one before:

I wasn't sure in which section to post this.
I knew about SNUBA, but this is impressive. Apparently, you don't even need a full cert. to buy this stuff.

Hookah units like that have been around since the '60s, both Evinrude and Johnson made them.
Brownies, the parent company of Halcyon, also makes them.;)

Don't know about what certification the "supersnorkel" requires, but Brownie's requires a scuba cert.
The YMCA (I think) offers a HOOKAH certification class.
I looked at the YMCA page, didn't see it listed. Somebody jump in & help out here...

The only thing I saw was this:
I have satisfactorily completed a basic course in skin and scuba diving, and I fully understand the precautions which must be taken when breathing compressed air underwater.
They don't seem to even ask for a copy of the c card.
They say the generator can run for 3 1/2 hours. Seems like a good idea at 90 fsw without any deco stop...

but when I first read the title of this thread, I thought I read "budgie wings..." Must be time to call it a night, huh?
