Frogmen host Navy SEAL Presentation

December 11th, U.S. Navy SEAL Presentation: By Navy SEAL Master Chief/Master SEAL Mr. William Atkinson. Bill and his staff will give us an in-depth look at the history and evolution of this elite military diving team, from the early days of the UDT's in World War 2 to present day opperations in the middle east. This multi media presentation will cover everything from the selection process and requirements, training, tactics, and focus on the SEALS specialized diving equipment used to conduct global combat and humanitarian protection missions.

Please join us for what promises to be an exciting and educational evening dedicated to those brave Americans who risk their lives to protect our great country.

12/11/2008 Presentation starts at 8 PM in the 2nd floor function hall at The Beverly Golf and Tennis Club, social hour/meet the speakers starts at 6:30-7 PM, there is a fine Italian Restaraunt and pub on site with a fantastic menu, come early for dinner and make an evening out of it.

As always, our presentations are FREE and open to the public.

We are pleased to announce that in addition to the scheduled SEAL presentation on 12/11, we have also arranged to have the Explosive Ordinance Disposal team bring their special opperations truck and related equipment up for display that evening. The E.O.D teams work very closely with the SEALS, and the staff that will be manning the vehicle should have some cool narratives about the dangers, equipment, responsibilities etc. of this hazardous job.
