SPG question....

Has anyone owned or seen the brass/glass spg made by IDI, if so what did you think of it and it's construction? I was going to order an OMS gauge from Leisure Pro next week, but I found a dive shop in a neighboring state who has a few of the IDI gauges that he ordered for someone who never picked them up a few months ago, and he told me that his customers had "evolved" to gauge consoles and therefore he had no use for them and could'nt sell them. He said he would sell them to me for $50.00 each and pay the shipping since he is already sending me a wetsuit next week. I know that sounds like a good deal, but I have never seen or held an IDI gauge and I do not know about their quality. I would appreciate any input from any of you who have seen or used these gauges. Well, I was hoping someone would have a little input on these gauges, but it looks like I am just going to go out on a limb and order them.

The smaller, 2", of the various OMS guages seems to be popular around here. I think the light colored background on the OMS will be easier to read than the dark backround on the IDI.
