Can anyone recomend a good lp hose length? rdriver April 20th, 2003, 07:54 PM I guess it all depends where you mount your tank..... I mount mine off of my BP and my standard DUI hose works out just fine. Rob cadet diver April 20th, 2003, 07:57 PM I plan to mount it off my plate. King Kong Matt April 20th, 2003, 07:59 PM The Halycon kit (Halcyon Drysuit Inflation System) comes with a 24" hose... Halcyon's Drysuit Inflation System Kit (http://www.halcyon.net/exposure/accessories01.shtml) Again, just for reference... Northeastwrecks April 20th, 2003, 09:16 PM Its also height dependent. For example, I use the standard 24" hose. I mount my argon on my plate using the Halcyon mounting straps. I'm 6'3". cadet diver April 20th, 2003, 09:51 PM I think I am going to try it with the hose that I have and if its too long just get a shorter one. It fits snuggly under my arm as it is now on my left post. Should it fit about the same or looser? Northeastwrecks April 20th, 2003, 10:01 PM Depends on what you mean by snug. It should be close to the body without being restrictive. It shouldn't put tension on the valve. FWIW, I swap my inflator between my argon and my left post depending on whether I'm using argon or not.
