I just got a 6cuf argon/air bottle for my drysuit. Can anyone recomend a good lp hose length?

I guess it all depends where you mount your tank.....
I mount mine off of my BP and my standard DUI hose works out just fine.

I plan to mount it off my plate.

The Halycon kit (Halcyon Drysuit Inflation System) comes with a 24" hose...

Again, just for reference...

Its also height dependent.

For example, I use the standard 24" hose. I mount my argon on my plate using the Halcyon mounting straps. I'm 6'3".

I think I am going to try it with the hose that I have and if its too long just get a shorter one. It fits snuggly under my arm as it is now on my left post. Should it fit about the same or looser?

Depends on what you mean by snug. It should be close to the body without being restrictive. It shouldn't put tension on the valve.

FWIW, I swap my inflator between my argon and my left post depending on whether I'm using argon or not.
