Two more weeks and I'm away from the cold and in exotic Indonesia.
So, how have dive conditions and the weather (rain??) been in Gili Islands and Labuan Bajo?

Anyone there, or been there in the past few days?

I'm here. in Labuan Bajo, that is..

Yup, it's raining, not every day though, sometimes a bit longer, sometimes just a shower..
Due to the rain there is quite a few mosquitoes around (not on the boat though), but for the evening a strong mosquito repellant can come in very handy..

Diving is great, I dived Karang Makaser (a.k.a. Manta Point) three times during the last two weeks - we never got away with less than 15 Manta rays... :D. The other dive sites are great as well, from nudis (earlier today we dived "Lonely Tree" - heaps of nudis!!) to crinoid shrimps to crocodile flatheads to sharks and turtles and Napoleons and giant trevallies and did I mention the Manta rays and all the rest..
Due tot he rains however vis is a bit down to ca. 20 meters max.

HTH
