does any body know if there is a device that you can carry to pick up whale song underwater... while scuba diving

My video camera did. It's an aluminum housing and the cmera is bolted to it so that it stays put inside the housing. It's either the vibrations carried thru the housing or were amplified by the inside fo the housing...whatver...when we wen't to watch the tape, we could hear the whale songs pretty well.

You will hear humpback whales an just about every dive around Maui from December to May.
