Looking for some help for our local dive site to allow night diving (as it did for many years before). All you need to do is send an email to request access. We hope with enough emails from divers, the current guidelines will be changed.

Information on diving at Blue Heron:
Blue Heron Bridge

Hello all:
As many of you may know, diving at Blue Heron is closed once the lifeguards
go home for the day. This means no night diving at one of the best shore
dives in the country. It is closed not by county ordinance, but because the
director of parks and recreation for Palm Beach County has the authority to
make the rules.

I am pleading with all of you to email your county commissioner, begging
them to direct the parks manager to change the rules.

If you don't know your commissioner, click here:
Board of County Commissioners to find out

If you don't live in Palm Beach county but dive here, email:
kmarcus@pbcgov.org and agreene@pbcgov.org - their districts border the park.

If you don't dive here on a regular basis, please help us by emailing Karen
Marcus and Addie Greene. Why should fishermen be allowed to fish until 10p,
but divers have to call it a day when the lifeguards go home?
