Raja - New Liveboard/Sorido Resort?

Hi all, Sorido Bay Resort's website is promoting a new liveboard connected somehow with them (vessel named the Papua). Does anyone have any info on this? It says it is starting operation in late 2008 which is now! We are looking at Nov 09 to do both Raja and Lembeh and might consider this if it is operating and recommended. Any thoughts and advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know anything about this boat but I highly recommend you do a liveaboard if you are going to Raja Ampat. It's a vast area impossible to do land based. Lembeh is just the opposite and land based operations are great. I assume you'll visit Lembeh first it's about the only way to get to Sorong anyway.

You have picked my two favorite dive spots and I only wish they weren't so far away.

I stayed at Papua in Jul 08. They were showing plans of the boat then.
The boat looks superb but a trip will be $$$$.
It was due to start making trips early 09.

R4 is an amazing place. So is Lembeh.
