jeez, how hard can it be to get wet?...an endless series of sinus infections and other respiratory ailments, low temps, canceled trips, etc etc have prevented me from logging any dives this year...grrrrrr.
BUT, I finally hit the water yesterday. Two dives in Lake Travis to break the dry spell...the new Zeagle mask and Rx worked well, but the new hood needs a vent hole poked in it to avoid the hydrocephalic diver look...
The equipment gods threw us some curves...a couple of backup regs that mysteriously decided to self destruct, a new BP/W that needed some 'fine' tuning (I won't tell what really happened), but in the end our dogged determination (and a ton of gear tweaking and swapping) prevailed and bubbles were blown...
Life is good again...going again tomorrow.
