OMS BP with cam bands?

Not sure exactly what you mean, but OMS plates aren't cut out for cam bands. You need to use a STA with OMS plates.

OMS has a brand new SS backplate that is cut for cam bands, I've only seen pictures of it. I have the older style OMS SS back plate, it requires the STA.

although I use there stuff....... I have found out from past experiences that what OMS says it has and what it can get out to there customers are two different things entirely, When they had the corner on the market with the VR3 they were about 6 months behind the power curve on anything that Phoenix (the parent company) came out new for the VR3...... All I ever heard is it was ether not avialible....... or there was a problem in production or it was in the mail, they are masters of the art of stalling when they don't have it in stock, but I guess you get that way when 3/4 of the items with your name on it for sale is made out of house.

That's exactly how I feel about Dive Rite and Halcyon, one's mediocre and the other over rated/priced.

I use the OMS IQ with the internal aluminum plate and the dual 100 bladder. When I dive a single tank, I use the OMS cam band adapter and love it..... one set of gear for single and doubles. I attach my pony on one of the OMS bands. The dual bladder makes it kind of a pain to attach items to the clips, however.

I use the OMS IQ, internal SS BP and the single bladder 100# bungee wing with a Scott Koplin Weighted SS STA and 2 Halcyon tank straps.
Works OK for me...no issues yet.
