Malfunctioning Sherwood Courier Computer

Hi there
I have a Sherwood Courier Dive Computer, and at the moment, when the computer is in sleep mode, both mountain symbols flash. According to the manual, this means the computer is "out of range". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the battery. This does not work. The computer does not switch on when submerged. I was wondering if anybody out there has a solution for this problem, or have I got myself another paperweight.

The Courier is quite an old computer. Here is what I would reccomend. Take the computer to your LDS. They can take a look at it, or send it into the Sherwood Technician. Not sure it can be fixed but they can take a look at it.
