Thanks pcscuba May 9th, 2003, 04:22 PM Go to www.sealconusa.com . They carry hummel fittings which are rated to 150 p.s.i. Depending on how many you need you can probable get them to send you a couple of samples. They are very good about that. pcscuba May 9th, 2003, 04:23 PM These are the same fittings that NiteRider dive lights use. cnidae May 9th, 2003, 04:44 PM That will only be good to 300'. I need something that will be ok up to 500'. Thanks for the link. pcscuba May 9th, 2003, 05:04 PM Go to www.airspeedpress.com and order the divelight companion. They talk in there about lights that are capable of going down 900' what kind of fitting to use etc. newdiverAZ July 5th, 2003, 01:05 AM this may be a stupid question, but do you just run the wire, or does the wire need to be in a conduit? Is it a special type of wire? Braunbehrens July 5th, 2003, 01:56 AM Just wire. Usually 2 conductor. It doesn't need to be special, although I would use something beefy. Padipro July 5th, 2003, 02:12 AM Go to the Sealcon website, get their phone number, call them and ask if they have something that will work. They have chrome plated brass fittings, like the ones Halcyon uses, that may be rated to a higher PSI. The 150 PSI fittings are only plastic. Scott mddolson July 6th, 2003, 03:12 PM Here's mine, It's a slicone rubber grommet and slips ring , in a machined nest with brass screw. It's tested to 750 psi. Mike D DNAXdiver July 6th, 2003, 03:17 PM halcyon doesnt use a chrome plated brass fitting nor a sealcon they use a stainless version of the 50¢ hardware store brass tubing fitting and oring gland that they used to use and that most homebuilder and AUL use however they didnt swtich to ss because anyting was wrong with the brass they just wanted something prettier Padipro once bubbled... It was late (3:00AM) and I was at work. It's Dive Rite that uses the chrome plated brass type fittings. When I told Sealcon what I was going to do with their strain reliefe fittings the rep told me that they supplied Dive Rite with the fittings they used on their lights.
