For you recently returned SCC'ers, out of curiosity, what are they building on the corner of the building in the web cam shot?:confused:

just got back on Saturday and logging on to post my report then I saw your question. They are not building anything, just doing maintenance. They are replacing the concrete supporting pillars underneath the second and third floor rooms above. The main floor area you see is the porch area from the first floor room which is obviously closed to guests during the repairs. While the pillars are being replaced, the upstairs is being jacked up with the beams you see in the webcam. When they are done they will remove the beams and then repair the porch below. Actually there were several rooms undergoing maintenance and repair while we were there. Wish I were back there now:cool2:

Tim keeps the place in shape by doing continuous maintenance! Just part of normal upkeep.
