Help - Staying at a time share - Grand Riviera Mayan Resort near Playa Del Carmen..., would appreciate knowing your experience and recommendations for dive shops, where to dive and what to see. Has anyone used Mexico Blue Dream dive shop before? I checked tripadvisor and they received numerous kuddos... New shop, small boat (roll back entrances), various dive packages offered. ??
A bit about us... Hubby and I are warm water vacation divers, diving only every 2 years due to $$$ constraints. (we live in the cold northwest) Certified years ago, 70+ dives - used nitrox, 110ft, experienced wreck dives, 1 night dive, but still feel like new divers since there is so much time in between each dive. Stressed from work, would like some TLC, but have to watch the budget. John has a bad knee and shoulder (a mess, but can still dive :)) so entering from shore through surf isn't a great idea which is why we prefer boat dives. Still, we are open to new adventures.
Previous dive areas - Puget Sound (yes cold water), S. Calif, N. Calif (yes cold water), Kona and Kauai (we don't get around much). Thanks...
