Two dives today at Whittier. The a cloudless sky and bright sunshine masked the 20 degree air temp. Snow covered mountains framing the fjord set the stage for the dive. An absolutely beautiful day.
Water temp is 39 degrees. We did two dives, both about 30 minutes. Visibility was good 20 to 40+. Wolf eels, jellyfish, and lots of other critters.
On the way back to Anchorage on Seward Highway I noticed several Corvettes on the road. Lots of people may think three days of sunshine and temps in the 20s mean spring is here, I think they are a bit premature. With all the winter debris on the road, running a 'vette is either an act of bravado or arrogance. Not sure which.
