Hi,

New to the forum and just wanted some advice.
Just bought a non branded dual speed scooter and am travelling to Sharm on EasyJet.

Any ideas/advise on how to breakdown the DPV for transport in hold luggage and carry on.
Its probably to fragile to leave in the carry bag that comes with it.

Maybe it will fit into something Pelican makes. A big concern may be the battery. Make sure the battery can go on a commercial airliner.

How large is the DPV? Regarding battery, sealed lead acid shouldn't be a problem.

FedEx is impractical - i am simply going to dissmantle it and pop it a SeaDoo Bag that i have just bought. Its large enough to hold the DPV, gear and clothers without breaching the weight restriction

Spoke to the airline and to carry it is aok - just with everything disconnected.
