In September of last year a Coast Guard helicopter went down in the waters off Honolulu . All four men on board lost their lives. There will be a memorial built at Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii to honor these men and the crew of another flight that went down, also of Air Station Barbers Point, back in 1982.

The co-pilot, Andy, was one of my lifelong best friends. Our friend Onespeed was also a life long friend of his too. My family is purchasing a brick for the walkway leading up to the memorial. Bricks may be ordered until 04/14/09. Please pass the info along to anyone you think that might be interested. You can find more information on the memorial here.
