Hi everybody,
I am currently taking an OW refresher course to start diving again. I was in college when I first got certified, and I couldn't do that much diving on a student's budget.
My wife and I are super excited to go back to the water.
I'm trying to decide on the insurance issue. I already narrowed it down to DAN and PADI's top insurance programs(Preferred and platinum respectively)but I would like to listen others' opinions and experiences before I make the final decision.
I'll appreciate any feedback on this.

Hi boricuamojao,

Both the Preferred & Platinum policies are excellent, but there are a few important differences. They are discussed & compared in detail in the Apr '01 issue of "Undercurrent" http://www.undercurrent.org in "Are You Diving Naked?"

Best regards.

Hi Jim F,

Thank you for that archival reference, as it's always wise & courteous to see if one's question has been answered here previously. Plus, I forgot I had posted the article.

Best regards.

Thank you all...
For the article, and the tip.
I will try to do that from now on,
I guess it comes from being a rookie here
The article was very helpfull, its good to have knowledgeable people share their experience with the newbies.
