Took a new friend I made up to Morrison today. He wanted to dive Morrison before flying back to Wisconsin tomorrow.

There was still a lot of fog on the spring when we arrived at 8 AM.

By the time we left at 11 AM the sun was coming out

Here is the chain on the large rock in the cavern people have been talking about. It is very strange...

Cant wait to dive it! Im leaving out tonight for Houston and tomorrow for Florida.

Maybe. It also seems like a lot of trouble to anchor something though. Who knows, ill take a look at it next week.

We talked about that today...but where the boulder is located, it would have been awful difficult to run a chain or rope out of the cavern, up chimney to the surface without it tearing up some rock around the opening to the cavern or the bowl...if it had something heavy on it.

Maybe it was used to anchor some of the equipment during construction?

Attachment point for Christmas tree lights? Lol
