Dacor Omni Pro Dive Computer

I just tried out my used Dacor Omni Dive computer for the first time down to about 40ft and it seems to be in "demo mode" even when I am down at that depth. It is scrolling through different displays when I am down there but it does seem to know the proper depth (I think) but I believe it should stay on a single display unless I change it, correct?? Is this normal or is something wrong as right now if I want to know the current depth or temperature I have to wait until it gets to that display and read it quickly or it is gone. Any help would be appreciated.

I used to love my old Omni Pro, but once it went bad, that was it. I too got funny screens and finally it kept shutting down during dives, even with new batts. Davis Corp told me to retire it. I miss it, it was very "liberal".
