View Full Version : Pony on top of Inspiration?
KentCe May 26th, 2003, 01:06 AM <deleted my original message as it was a dumb question> caveseeker7 May 26th, 2003, 02:16 AM That dumb? I've seen pony's mounted on top of Inspirations, actually. In Germany, mounted to a stell handle made by Deep Bandits. The handle is pretty cool as you can easily grab onto it with both hands. Helps lugging the box around. Bottle I'm not so sure about, if you can fit it might as well I guess. Take the weight out of the pouches ... . madmole May 26th, 2003, 06:01 AM A lot of people put their Argon or air for the drysuit on the top, it replaces the weight pouch you normally put there Others (like me) use pony mounts to put extra bailout and suit gasses on the sides of the case. Normally I slide my HOD cannister on the right and a 3l of air as suit feed, extra bailout on the left for dives down to 50m You can also side sling gasses easily KentCe May 26th, 2003, 11:14 AM caveseeker7 once bubbled... That dumb? I've seen pony's mounted on top of Inspirations, actually. I also saw a picture with a pony (or maybe it was an argon) bottle mounted on top. But my concern was putting a bottle (that might shift) so near the hoses. madmole May 26th, 2003, 11:16 AM No probs, you bolt a pony mount to the case where the weight pocket normally goes. No chance of it moving and touching the hoses
