Hypnautical seats

I had 4 seats with Capt John on the Hypnautical that I had to cancel this morning. It's for Saturday morning. I wanted to post to make sure he gets the seats filled.

Good news since Hypnautical is only a 6 pack and with 4 cancelling just a day before, that's tough to get divers on board with short notice. Wolf, you know what happens to spearo's that cancel. Next time it's a hefty non-refundable deposit upfront at booking time.

I'm not trying to bash SoggyPretzel and I also give him credit for trying to fill the spots, but I know alot of groups that other spearfishing charters won't pre-book cause their reputation has preceeded them. All captains talk on the phones to each other, that's how they know the hot spots.

If one diver has to cancel, the other 3 shouldn't have to also, unless its highly unusual. My dive buddie's would ditch me in a heart beat, then call me up to rub my face in how much fun they had.

The East Coast boats have been blown out the previous 2 weekends due to weather and in this economy, they need reliable divers. If I have to cancel and its my doing, my money stays on the table and I lose it until I find a replacement. We don't cancel.

P.S. Heard Hypnautical kill them Saturday with big groupers, kings, and go's.

Johnoly, John's boat was full, he has great #s and spearos know it. I passed him as my boat was picking up boatful of OW students..... like you said, my trip had also been delayed over a week due to the weather. This whole week looks great!
