Hey everyone-

Whatever your stance on spearfishing, abalone or other CA ocean fishing and harvesting, time is running out for public comment on Fish and Game coastal closures.

If youve (attempted) to read through the involuted, interest conflicting, special interest motivated tones and strangely developed corporatespeak language to any depth, you'd see how important it is that we who stare at the bottom of the ocean regularly make our observations about the health - or places lacking it - heard directly. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR COMMENTS RIGHT AWAY OR KISS REALITY (and even respectfully harvested food) GOODBYE!:shakehead:

"A Draft EIR for the North-Central Coast was published on Friday March 20, 2009 through the State Clearinghouse to commence a 45-day public comment period on the Draft EIR. Print copies are available at most public libraries, DFG offices, and Sea Grant Extension Programs throughout the state. CD copies are also available at various harbormaster offices. The Draft EIR may also be downloaded from the Marine Life Protection Act Web site."

OK. What are they closing?
