I don't know if this is part of a new PADI specialty course or if there's something else going on here, but this IS one of the most unique dives I've ever seen photographed.

That's cool fershure. That's some big teeth for an Indian elephant. No wonder he was prized in the logging industry.
 
That's one "diver" that always carries his "snorkel"!
 
The diver in the photo is my friend Nancy McGee from Dallas. I think there's actually some video of this encounter as well.

Don't think I've ever heard or seen any dive that's quite so unique. Has anyone else had an interesting creature encounter out of the ordinary while diving?

fantastic.....I have an elephant collection because I love them, so how cool would it be to swim with one? Awesome!

I guess he has a trunk full of air! Can you imagine the TRUST that creature has in it's buoyancy?
