A friend and I would like to do a liveaboard this summer. After doing some research, I'm leaning towards Blackbeard's for the no frills budget option - after all, it's all the same under water, right?

What experiences do you have diving the Bahamas in the summer months? Should I be worried about the hurricane, rough seas, or extra warm/humid weather conditions that would make a week on a cramped liveaboard unusually unbearable??

Any preferences between July, August, or September?

Thanks!!

Blackbeards is fun but the Dream Too is better. Depends on what you are looking for. Blackbeards is a diving/pary boat that will take you to all the known spots around Bimini.

The Dream Too will take you up to White Sand Ridge to dive lesser known spots. Including dolphins, sharks and the "Sugar Wreck". I personally think the "Sugar Wreck" is one of the best dives I have ever been on.

If you go with them say hi to Captain Scott for me.
