I'm a Fish!
Hello SB
I've been reading on Sir Francis Drake and his 1580 circumnavigating the world.
Drake died in 1596 and was buried at sea in a lead coffin, near Portobelo Panama.
I've been looking around to see if anyone has found the lead coffin while diving as the region has not changed much since Drake's time.
If anyone has something on this please drop a line!

We're looking at a week there with Panama Divers this winter. They go out of Portobelo, with one site near Drake I. Will keep our eyes open!

it would be sweet if you found it!

just out of curiousity, why do you think the area has not changed much in more than 400 years?

Well, they found it in Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, so hard can it be!

Odd thing about the start of that game is, everyone's wandering about with their BC's on.

That's not very long on the geological time scale. :D

:hm: Now if only I had a fleet of boats, divers, and ROV's to work with.
